Kleinfeld, in central Manhattan,is the Mecca of wedding dresses – and has been since 1941. Many of the world’s rich and famous have sealed their passion in one of Kleinfeld’s dresses.
The store sells no less than 20,000 wedding dresses every year and has 200 employees, ranging from stylists/consultants who help the bride-to-be make her decision to retouchers. Kleinfeld claims every bride gets at least 30 hours of personal attention before leaving the shop with the dress of her dreams.
Needless to say, the shop has an astounding product range. Not only American designers, but the cream of European couturiers and fashion houses are represented here as well.
